The house is centrally located and also really close to the beach. Beer is a lovely little seaside village and the house is surrounded by plenty of interesting and useful shops, as well as some great pubs and cafés. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you'd expect and more, including a selection of board games and a really well equipped kitchen with a washer/dryer (really handy for beach towels). Excellent communication from Zoe with very clear instructions on parking etc.

We loved Zoe's place. Loved being in the centre of the village with lots of walking opportunities. Your house was so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we wanted to cook our own meals and relax at the end of the day. We loved taking our wine and cheese down to the deck chairs on the beach to watch the Luggers and yachts sailing.

A super comfy, well located, perfectly organised place to stay - we enjoyed our long weekend immensely!

Zoe was super helpful in the run up to our stay and Brooksyde was the perfect spot for a family break by the seaside. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you'd expect including a great kitchen. Some lovely touches around the house with games for the kids too. All in a brilliant location right on the quiet high street in Beer. Highly recommended.

A beautiful house in a fantastic location. The house was everything we expected and more and we would absolutely go back again!

Fab location, lovely house which exceeded expectation. Beer is lovely!

The photos don't do this house justice, lovely big rooms, lovely decor, with thoughtful touches, the house has a really homely feel. The location of the house was perfect for restaurants, pubs and one of the prettiest walks we've every done. Zoe was very quick at responding and helpful through out the stay, we would love to go back in the summer! All in all a BIG 10/10 - Thank you Zoe for sharing your lovely house : )

Zoe's house is just perfect for a stay in the beautiful town of Beer. It is located right in the centre so just a couple of minutes walk to restaurants, pubs, the beach. The house itself is spacious, clean and has everything you need for your stay. During our stay we ate at the Spice Merchant and Steamers, both were really good, lovely food and great service. We were also lucky enough to have fabulous weather on the Sunday so breakfasted at Duckies on the beach. The walk to Branscombe is a bracing 2 mile clifftop walk with great views, would recommend it but beware of the steps at the end, best get in training.

Fabulous house in a great location, really stylish and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay at Zoe's in Beer. I stayed with my parents, brother & his family. The house was much larger than expected, with plenty of space for all of us. Very cozy, clean, and in a great location. Great communication before arrival, and Zoe was very accommodating with our confusion about towels. My mother wanted me to point out how much she appreciated the luggage racks - one in every room. The location is amazing - right up the street from the beach. You can see the water from the master bedroom. We all recommend Zoe's!

Zoe was a very helpful host and made us feel very welcome right from the start. The house was in a perfect location right on the main street in Beer just what we wanted. The house has a lovely light and airy feel, is well furnished and comfortable a great place to return to after a long walk over the headlands to Seaton or Branscombe. The car park was literally a minute away so no problem. All in all I couldn't fault it - a great few days away from it all.

Firstly, location is perfect! Everything was well prepared and the house impeccably clean.

We stayed in Beer in 2014 and fell in love with the place. On our first visit, we stayed in one of the local hotels. Because we were staying for a full week on this occasion, we decided to opt for a special treat and rent property. This was the first time that we had rented and wasnt really sure, what to fully expect. Zoe and Kevin were very thoughtful, helpful and proffessional from the word go. They kept us fully informed, on all we needed to know. When we arrived, we were delighted with the property, its furnishings, comfort and cleanliness. All rooms are tastefully decorated and put together with style, class and love. All photographs are a true representation, of the property as it is. We found our stay very calming and relaxing and wanted for nothing ! We took all sorts of provisions with us, as it was our first rental, but Zoe and Kevin have been kind and thoughtful in helping you make the most of your vacation. They supplied coffee, tea, sugar, bin bags, air freshners, detergents, toilet rolls, dishcloths, tea towels. The list goes on, all you need are yourselves and your own personal towels. Hot water was instant and plentiful, the heating worked fine, as did the Wifi. We thought the pricing was well pitched against similar properties and cheaper than staying in the local hotels on a B+B basis. Overall, a fantastic experience and strongly recommended. We hope to return again, very very soon :) Gary and Kerry.... The property enjoys prime location on Fore St, right opposite the Dolphin Hotel, just yards from the Quay. The Post Office is next door and there are one or two other local shops. There is a chippy there, an excellent Indian called Spice Merchants and also an Italian / Thai restaurant called Ginas. Osbournes is an up and coming Wine Bar, that also provided food. We ate in the Anchor, the other hotel. That wasnt too bad and also ate at Steamers, which is voted number one on Trip Advisor. Thats was pretty good. There is a brand new Tesco`s in Seaton and we also found a new Waitrose on the main road towards Sidmouth. Beer is geographically ideal, for exploring the whole of the coastline, as we did :)

Excellent stay in this lovely cottage, well equipped and perfect location just a short walk from the beach and beautiful cliff walks. Could not find a fault with anything and would highly recommend a stay here! Many Thanks
